Bob Kantor Chief Executive Officer
Bob has been President of two global billion dollar advertising agencies as well as Founder and Chairman of his agency, Rotter Kantor. Bob was President of Publicis for five years, helping to build that agency in the United States from a modest New York office presence to become a top four global agency network. Bob was directly responsible for managing Blue Chip clients including BMW, L’Oreal, Nestle and Novartis. As President of the US offices of IPG’s Lowe & Partners, Bob led the agency’s growth with clients that included Mercedes, Century 21, Diet Coke, Sprite and Marriott.
JD Schulman Founder & Chief Operating Officer
JD has founded, raised capital for, operated and sold successful businesses for the past sixteen years and has a track record of successful management and entrepreneurial achievement. Prior to founding Hanger Network, JD created AnswerMate, now a division of InternetSeer serving 1.6 million subscribers. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of ServiceEngine, Inc., which developed customer service transaction solutions for online businesses. In 1997 he co-founded Sitetrends, a large private Internet programming and colocation company. Prior to this, he handled sales & fulfillment operations including logistics and EDI distribution systems for clients such as Wal-Mart, Sears, K-Mart, Target, COSTCO for M. Fabrikant & Sons, Inc. the nation’s first billion dollar integrated jewelry company.
Gary Mirkin Director of Sales & Marketing
Gary is a veteran publishing executive having held senior management positions at major business magazines including Barron's Financial Weekly (Dow Jones & Co) and BusinessWeek (McGraw Hill). He was publisher of INC Magazine where he was a member of the management team involved in selling the company to G & J USA for $225 million dollars and Vice President and Publisher of Fast Company. Previous to that, he launched Mobile PC Magazine for Future Network USA. Most recently Gary was Vice President of the national magazine group at American Lawyer Media overseeing sales and marketing for The American Lawyer, Law Technology News, Corporate Counsel and IP Law & Business. Gary is a native of New York who spent nine years in California covering the west coast for Barron's from 1981-1989.
Suzanne Dawson National Account Director
Suzanne joins Hanger Network from the out of home world having spent almost ten years selling Clear Channel Airports in New York and Philadelphia and a year with Out of Home America. Prior to joining Clear Channel, Suzanne was a top producer for MNI representing Time, Newsweek, US News and Sports Illustrated for local advertisers in Connecticut and was promoted to handle national accounts in New York City. Suzanne is active in the American Marketing Association of Fairfield County, she has held board positions including President for five consecutive years. Suzanne lives in Darien, Connecticut with her husband and son.
Alex Ellwood National Account Director
Alex has over seven years marketing and advertising experience within the consumer packaged goods industry. Most recently, he was a Brand Manager at Philip Morris USA where he oversaw and led several new product introductions and retail promotions for Marlboro, the company's flagship brand. Prior to that, Alex worked for five years in the public policy arena where he was responsible for business and environmental regulatory issues at both the state and federal level. Alex has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
Mark Bloom National Account Director
Mark has ten years of strategic and creative marketing experience, with an emphasis in branding and licensing. His industry knowledge is largely based in food & beverage, restaurant/hospitality and luxury goods. He previously was an Account Director at The Food Group (WPP), where he oversaw comprehensive marketing, promotional and culinary services for food/beverage manufacturers, including Cadbury Schweppes brands and Seafood From Norway. Prior to that, he worked as Marketing and Development Manager for Le Cordon Bleu, leading all U.S. marketing and sales activities for the Paris-based group. Most recently, Mark developed and managed a fine jewelry and giftware company specializing in brand licensing. Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in French from Bates College in Lewiston, ME, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
Keith Kousins National Account Director
Keith has 12+ years of both offline and online senior Business Development experience. He has worked within the consumer publishing market, licensing and production of custom magazines, as well as an Internet marketing company. Keith’s history includes working on direct-to-consumer programs for top tier branding and direct-response clients. Past clients include SuperValu, Sony Pictures, Paramount Studios, Mattel Inc, SFX/Pace Productions, Discovery Channel, Doubleday Book Club, Craftmatic Beds, Career Education Corporation, and more. Keith has been actively involved in the Direct Marketing Association and other related business organizations. He is a native of the Chicago area and currently resides in the northern suburbs.
